Discovery Days

Discovery Days is an event that happens twice a year, once in the fall for grade 12 students, then again in the spring for grade 10 students. The format is similar for both events. For the fall discovery days I helped out and I shadowed Joanna Hesketh for an assignment in TRMT 470 Policy and Planning. The Prezi is available below.

For the spring discovery days I helped with the overall event as well as lead a seminar for the grade 10 students on the topic of Be a Leader. What is leadership, and how to get involved on campus. The power point presentation for this is also listed below. During the seminar I showed the group the Drew Dudley Ted Talk on Everyday Leadership. This is a type of leadership that I try to do on a daily basis. You never know

If you have any further questions about these two events, feel free to email me at [email protected]
