Get to know ME

I currently work as a Recruitment Officer, within the Office of Enrolment Management at Vancouver Island University. With this role I have had diverse experiences, including implementing recruitment activities, attending recruitment events, planning events, participating in different committees, presenting to a variety of audiences, developing and managing social media communications, and organizing  and encouraging the Student Ambassador Program. 

Prior to this role I completed my Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree, with a major in Recreation from Vancouver Island University. I have also completed  a Diploma in Recreation and Sport Management as well a Certificate in Event Management. 

I am a fun, energetic, and outgoing individual who is known for always smiling and being positive. I am continually looking for ways to get involved and to help out within my community. Throughout my degree I was an active leader within the university community, both while I was on an exchange at California State University, Eastbay and at Vancouver Island University by participating in intramural sports, clubs, volunteer opportunities and working on campus. By going through the pages on this site you will be able to get a better idea of all the amazing things I have been involved with and get a better feel of who I am as an individual.
